"I
don't often respond to emails asking for my input or my
feedback. However, having experienced firsthand some
excellent results from your WLGW program, I feel
compelled to oblige your request.
Question 1
- How you like what I've sent you so far.
"Answer
1 - I ordered your WLGW program about four weeks ago.
"Primarily, I was searching for something that would
give me back some hope of being able to conquer my
constant battle with the weight loss/weight gain roller
coaster.
"As a
Christian, I was also hoping that my search would turn
up something that was based on God's wisdom.
"After
four weeks of following the program, I am thrilled to
say that your program has been everything I was hoping
for.
"As
background, I am a 5' 10" male age 49 and had gained up
to my heaviest weight ever of 225 pounds this year. As
of today, I weigh 207!
"That's
18 pounds in four weeks. I feel confident (a welcomed
feeling indeed) that I will be able to hit my target
weight of 175 by the end of the year.
"But
it's much more than the weight loss. Your material has
encouraged me to delve deeper in to God's word than I
have in a long, long time.
"I am
pleased (more like thrilled) with my weight loss results
but even more excited about my new found confidence
and hope!
Question 2
- What you would like to hear more (or less) about.
"Answer
2 - Funny you should ask this question. I have been
wondering if you have ever thought about producing some
material similar to WLGW but focus on what God's word
has to say about finances and money instead of weight
loss?
"You
may already have done this, and if so, I would love
to read your thoughts on this topic. While working
through WLGW, I find my mind constantly wandering to try
to take the principles regarding weight loss and make
application to finances as well.
"I'm
pretty sure there are millions like me who have
misunderstood finances as much if not more than we have
diet and weight loss.
Question 3
- Where you might be stuck in your own weight loss
efforts.
"Answer
3 - I can honestly say that since beginning WLGW I have
not yet been stuck in my weight loss efforts.
"The
real breakthrough for me was the moment I realized that
this body I have been given is a temple and "deserves"
to be treated with honor (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (New
International Version) -
18Flee from sexual
immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his
body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own
body. 19Do you not know that
your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,
whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20you were bought at a
price. Therefore honor God with your body.)
Question 4
- What one piece of information might be able to change
your life if you had it?
"Answer
4 - You have hit the very nerve of one of my burning
questions. Maybe not so much as it relate to weight loss
or being healthy, but more so about prosperity in other
areas.
"You
mention in WLGW that "God's wants you to have it all -
that He wants to 'give you the kingdom' ". Although I
deeply want to believe this, I honestly struggle with
this concept.
"Does
God really want me to prosper? I read several scriptures
that seem to convey the idea of "be content with what
you have" or "do not set your affections on things of
this earth" and find it hard to embrace the idea of
prosperity.
"Given,
my background as a relatively poor farm boy from
Arkansas raised in Southern Baptist churches from the
day I was born has probably had a considerable impact on
my way of thinking.
"But,
to answer your question, if I had one piece of
information that might be able to change my life, it
would be to fully understand God's teaching on wealth
and prosperity.
"Well,
I know you were probably wanting "brief" answers to your
questions, but I couldn't seem to stop the thoughts that
were streaming out of my mind. I sincerely thank you for
the WLGW material. It has greatly impacted my life
already and I believe it will for years to come.

Dr. Frank. It is always so good to receive and read your
encouraging emails.
"I feel
like I am finally living and understanding God's word
which says, "You will know the truth and the truth will
set you free" in the area of healthy eating and living.
"Also,
now that my wife is beginning to see a change in me, she
is, how shall I say "cautiously curious" to see if it
will last.
"I
can't blame her because I've tried some pretty dumb
weight loss stuff before that had short-lived-results at
best and was very unhealthy at worst.
"I pray
that she will come around and give WLGW a chance - and I
believe she will in time. She is from Missouri after all

also approached a few men here where I work whom I know
have expressed interest in losing weight - and who are
also brothers in Christ.

I am truly excited is an understatement. What has also
been amazing is how my desire for junk-food, unhealty
foods, and unhealthy portions has practically vanished
now that I desire to honor God with my body - even more
than I use to desire unhealthy food.

now half way to my target weight of 175 and am confident

months ago, I had no plan or hope that I could lose

was empowered I said no thank you. I knew the cake sale
was to support a mission trip so after being asked the

fact that I turned down the cake.

in the power of my mind to say no and not feel that I
had to eat the cake because I was asked instead I was
blessed I didn't eat it and felt good that I turned it
down especially after a 2 hr service and church is 1/2
hr away from me it would have been so easy to eat that
cake.

thank God that I was able to turn it down and say no
thank you. I had to turn my comfort food down and
replace it with the comfort of the Holy Spirit and to
know that Jesus is my comforter.

sure felt good to accept my blessing today and put God
ahead of my sin Cake became a bondage for me every day
since I was a kid always ate food for comfort now almost
60 years old and overweight and unhappy about my weight
I finally was able to say no and feel good about it.
